When it was time for K&D's guests to take their seats for the reception, a custom vinyl seating chart wall, adorned with a flutter of pastel butterflies, showed the way. This was a playful nod to the butterfly RSVP cards guests had seen months prior.

Frances’ bridal portraits ended up somewhere completely unexpected — and it was the perfect decision.⁠

We were originally planning to photograph these at the wedding venue, but construction sent us to her grandmother’s home instead. And honestly, I couldn’t imagine them anywhere else.⁠

Her grandmother was the sweetest and hung out with us while we photographed, and her home was filled with incredible taste and so much personality. It gave us the perfect setting to make these portraits — beautiful, calm, and completely her. 🤍⁠

The Four Seasons lawn was transformed for K&D's wedding.

The ground arrangements ran the full length of the aisle on both sides, filled with dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, anemones, delphinium, tulips, and cosmos in coral, peach, periwinkle, yellow, blush, and lavender. Every color loose and spilling rather than contained. White wishbone chairs with sage green ribbon bows lined either side.

At the end of the aisle, a full arch in the same palette framed the vows and the trees behind them. The setting felt secluded and intimate, despite the venue’s location just steps from downtown Austin.

Looking for Austin wedding weekend inspiration? Jake & Leah’s celebration blended timeless design with intentional, community-centered moments. Their rehearsal dinner at South Congress Hotel transformed into a full-scale party with bold rentals, live music, and dancing that brought all their guests together.

The next day, their Four Seasons Austin wedding combined heartfelt vows under the live oaks with a romantic Sperry tent reception filled with lush florals and soft spring tones. The weekend wrapped with three hours of live music and late-night tacos, a joyful, personal, and truly Austin celebration.

Walking into the reception at Omni Barton Creek, it was clear this wasn’t meant to feel like a traditional ballroom.

Pearl Events Austin designed and orchestrated a reception room that felt more like a beautifully appointed living space than a traditional ballroom layout. Custom upholstered benches with throw pillows anchored the room alongside high boys, rounds, and squares. Each seating area was distinct and was designed to naturally pull people into conversation.
