The 2025 Houston Horror Film Festival Icon Award went to the legendary Dee Wallace this past weekend.

a Hollywood icon, beloved for her unforgettable performances in some of the most legendary films of all time. With a career spanning decades, she’s brought warmth, strength, and heart to classics like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo, The Howling, and Critters.

Her work has made her a horror and sci-fi legend, while her charm and authenticity have cemented her place as one of the most respected and adored figures in the industry.

Simply put—Dee Wallace isn’t just part of cinematic history… she is cinematic history.
