January throwback. Fifteen years in, and these couples still hold up.

We looked back at January celebrations across the years, and it is a lot.
Bars turned into full-scale party spaces.
Stages filled with rising talent.
Fast timelines because a dad was deploying to Afghanistan.
Color moments before color was allowed.
Grooms from meteorology to baking and everything in between.
A nod to family members pulled into visual memories.

Trends come and go. You can spot them if you want.
What never changes is the people.
Gracious. Kind. Trusting us with big moments in the middle of winter.

These photos take us all the way back to 2011. That alone feels unreal.
This is why we do it.
January set the tone, and the rest of this anniversary year has a lot to live up to.

Throwing it way back to welcome a new year.

Later this year we’ll celebrate 15 years of Christina Leigh Events. That sentence makes me pause.

It started with a middle school obsession with Martha Stewart weddings. That turned into an internship, then hands on work across industries. A real love for celebrating people and companies during moments that matter grew.

This year, I am opening the archives. Old events. Early work. Beautiful celebrations. The kind that live on disk drives, USBs, file folders, and far too many formats that no longer feel current.

Systems changed. Style evolved. The heart stayed the same.

I will be sharing past events while continuing to plan what is next for CLE. Growth. Refinement. Forward motion.

We love getting calls for celebrations, no matter the celebrant. When we were contacted to execute a christening for Eva and Artemis we echoed a resounding yes!

We love not just doing, but overdoing and when the pier collided with the ballroom we had the best time hitting every marker and dreaming up the most fun day.

⚓️Balloons, but make them elegant.
⚓️Blue and white for , but with a twist.
⚓️Unexpected details.
⚓️A nod to every single guest.

We never produce an event alone. It is the amazing group of creatives that brought our vision to life, while each adding their expertise, that iis to be commended. We can’t wait to see the video that Blake Pollino captured, but until then here are a few images of the Christening of Eva and Artemis!

We believe in designing any event with intention. When this precious bride was looking for the perfect anchor for the room we knew exactly what to do.

🤍 The room was smaller, with a lower ceiling so it was important to work with the scale of the space, without making additional decor seem out of place. Enter the cake!

🤍 We know that a party without cake is just a meeting, but when it comes to a wedding we always say more is more - and we knew just who to call.

🤍 did not disappoint with their amazing flavors, stunning hand-made sugar flowers and beautiful presentation!

🤍 This cake, placed under a perfect display of greenery by , left all of the guests in awe. Once the cake was served guests couldn’t believe this yummy cake was the same display cake!

🤍 This design aspect also created the perfect backdrop for reception photos once the cake was cleared. A win-win for this space and wedding!

What do the rain and your wedding planner have in common?

The truth is how your planner handles the rain may be what you remember most about your wedding.

All of this crazy weather in Texas has us thinking way back. Back to the very first wedding where a very large pop-up storm (not detected on radar) confirmed why we do what we do.

A wedding planners demeanor in how they handle situations that aren’t plan A matters. When it comes to the rain a few important things are:

🌧️ Where is entertainment? Their equipment, connections, generator?
🌧️ Where is catering? Food prep, serving, clean up?
🌧️ Where are the guests that might need additional assistance?

We’re sharing a more things we managed to make a big difference on the journal. Take a peek at Wedding Wednesday No. 6 for our take of rain on a wedding day.

🌧️We don’t ever bring up the rain as a sore spot. We want our brides to love their plan B (and C-G) as much as plan A.

Happy 10 years to B + L!

I can still remember the day. It was beautiful, wet, and perfect!

💍 We had spent months planning and designing on the family property. The tents, floral, linens, restrooms, transportation from the house to the ceremony and reception for the couple. Parking. Everything you need when you build and produce a site from scratch.

💍 The one thing we planned for, but don’t ever think you need the plan for happened. It rained, and rained.

💍 Let me tell you despite the rain before the ceremony, the joy found that night was palpable. There was laughter and there were (happy) tears. There was dancing and fun, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect.

💍 These sweet families are what dreams are made of. The kind of couples we find joy in serving with our whole heart. The beautiful feature in Cottage Hill Magazine was a testament to just that!

Happy 10 years of celebrating your love story! Cheers to decades more!

Today’s dreary skies have us dreaming about the perfect day, and the beautiful Sperry tent at Arrowhead Hill a couple of weeks ago!

💍 Over the past 13+ years we’ve had the pleasure of working in venues and on beautiful estates in multiple states. It’s always the greatest joy to help our couples and clients celebrate their most treasured events.

💍 We treat each space with the utmost respect as if it was our own home.
💍 We care for our couples in getting ready suites.
💍 We handle doors to forever with a gentle touch.
💍 We celebrate on dance floors.
💍 We cherish the moments that start the next chapter.
💍 we tap away tears of joy behind doors.

💍 We have seen venues come and go, but our time in each space is always cherished. We can’t wait to be back at Arrowhead Hill in May to celebrate again!
