Painting can be such a goofy process. It always looks crazy in the very beginning but as things come together it suddenly starts to make sense.
This is the master copy I’ve been working on for the Florence Academy of Art. This painting is a week in and so far has been a challenge of persistence and detail oriented thinking where every line and value matters. I still have much more work to do on it, maybe even adding color to it once I nail the values.
