Originally formed in Flower Mound, Texas in 2006, Horse Thief are a psych-influenced indie rock quintet whose members relocated to Oklahoma City in 2010 to attend the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. During the summer before their first school year, the band took a creative journey to Creede, Colorado. While working on songs there, they came across the name Horse Thief on a map of local hiking trails and felt the name connected well with their brand of sprawling, psych-Americana. Doors 7 p.m., $8.

Vile departed shortly after its release to focus on his solo career.The band's second studio album Slave Ambient was released in 2011 to critical acclaim and extensive touring. HOUSTONIGHTLIFE.COM Highlight of the Week: A superbly talented new soul/indie band in Jungle are in Fitzgerald's this week.The two founding members of Jungle are Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland.They have been friends since they were nine years old and were neighbours growing up in west London. They were students at Latymer Upper School. In 2010/11 they were part of an indie band called Born Blonde. They formed Jungle at the start of 2013. Fantastic show. Doors 8 p.m., $18.
The Airborne Toxic Event is an American indie rock band from Los Feliz, Los Angeles, California. It consists of Mikel Jollett (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Steven Chen (guitar, keyboards), Adrián Rodríguez (electric bass, backing vocals), Daren Taylor (drums) and Anna Bulbrook (violin, keyboard, tambourine, backing vocals). The band released its debut self-titled album in 2008 and released its follow-up album, All at Once, on April 26, 2011. Doors 7 p.m., $27.58.
