Introducing The Little Stitch Collection🪡🤍
It’s June 1st, and to me that means new beginnings💫
This collection has been on my heart for a long time now, and I want to be fully transparent about this new chapter and what’s to come.
After lots of prayer, research, conversations with suppliers, testing products, and going back and forth on this decision, I finally feel ready to launch The Little Stitch Collection.
If you’re familiar with the smock community, then you know there’s a difference between hand-smocked pieces and machine-smocked or embroidered pieces. Originally, my goal was to only offer hand-smocks because of the quality and detail they bring to each piece. However, after a lot of thought and reflection, I decided to offer a variety of items with different price points. From hand-smocked to machine/embroidered options, and even applique items. My overall goal is to accommodate different budgets while still providing beautiful, high-quality pieces.
One thing I will never compromise on is quality. No matter which option you choose, I’ve made it a priority to carefully select suppliers and products that meet the standards I want for this collection. My pricing will reflect the differences in production, detail, and supplier costs, especially since true hand smocks require much higher MOQs and production expenses.
I also want to make one thing very clear: I am not starting this collection to compete with anyone or any other business. I genuinely just want to provide high-quality children’s clothing, matching sibling sets, and thoughtfully curated collections at the best prices possible. One thing I’m especially excited about is creating matching bow drops to keep everything tied together🎀
To also accommodate different timelines and shipping preferences, there will be two different types of drops:
1. Supplier In-Stock Drops - these items are already in stock with my supplier and there are limited sizes available. These drops will have a MUCH quicker TAT
2. Preorder Drops - these collections will have a STRICT deadline, minimal extras, and will have a longer ETA since they must be produced then shipped.
My hope for the future is to eventually offer custom and exclusive hand-smocked designs with lots of extras in case you miss a drop. Those pieces require much larger MOQs and significant growth, so my plan is to build this collection one step at a time, create a strong foundations, and continue expanding as new doors open.
