🎄✨ The magic of Holiday Lights begins long before the first twinkle fills the Gardens.

This morning, our amazing friends from Entergy rolled up their sleeves to help build new display pieces for this year’s Holiday Lights experience. (Or as Bryce likes to call them… our “Holiday Lights Elves!” 🎅🔧)

From drilling and cutting to creating the glowing displays that will delight thousands of guests this season, these volunteers are helping bring the wonder of the holidays to life—one piece at a time.

A heartfelt thank you to Entergy Arkansas for investing your time, energy, and talent into Garvan Woodland Gardens. Your partnership helps make Holiday Lights a tradition that so many families cherish each year.

The gardens are staying open late, and there’s no better way to spend a summer evening than surrounded by beautiful blooms, peaceful pathways, and golden-hour views.

Bring your family, meet up with friends, or enjoy a quiet stroll as the sun begins to set. Don’t forget to stop by the Great Lawn for lawn games, grab a bite from the Chipmunk Café, and cool off with a FREE popsicle while supplies last! 🍦🌸

🐦🌿 Did you know Garvan Woodland Gardens provides an important habitat for both resident and migratory birds? Whether it’s a hummingbird stopping for nectar, a brilliant Northern Cardinal perched overhead, or one of the many other species that call the Gardens home, every visit offers an opportunity to experience Arkansas’s incredible birdlife up close.

Bring your camera, slow your pace, and see what you can discover on your next walk through the Gardens.

This October, we’re excited to serve as one of the host sites for the birdingfestivalofthesouth, presented by Oaklawn and taking place October 8–10 throughout Hot Springs. During the festival, Garvan Woodland Gardens will host birding activities as part of a weekend celebrating the incredible birdwatching opportunities our region has to offer.

🎟️ Festival passes are on sale now, and we’ll be sharing more details about the activities taking place at the Gardens as the event gets closer. We hope you’ll join us this fall! 🍂🐦

For the safety of our guests and staff, Garvan Woodland Gardens is temporarily asking all visitors to move indoors due to lightning in the area.

We know this isn’t how anyone hoped to spend their visit, but your safety is our highest priority. As soon as conditions improve and it is safe to do so, we’ll reopen the gardens.
