Mardi Gras in the Spa is looking for the perfect signature cocktail — and we want the community to help us find the bartender who can bring it to life!

We’re looking to partner with a creative local bartender and the bar or restaurant they represent to create an official Mardi Gras in the Spa drink full of flavor, color, and Mardi Gras spirit.

We got started putting together the First Ever Mardi Gras in the Spa pretty late in the game. Many said we wouldn't be able to get it done. There were times that it felt that was going to be the case. However, in the end, thanks to our amazing sponsors and everyone involved, we were able to make a tremendous donation to The Jackson House That will allow them to provide emergency needs for a very large number of people for several months! Thank you to everyone! The next one is going to be even better!

We are working on some exciting things! We are going to need some help! We've had a couple of folks that do graphics etc reach out, we would love to talk to several more of you. 🎭 Calling All Local Artists, Designers & Creatives! 🎨

Last year, Mardi Gras in the Spa was built from the ground up with a very small volunteer team, no marketing budget, and no library of photos or artwork to work from. To help bring the vision to life and get the word out, we relied heavily on AI-generated graphics.

This year, we would love to involve more local creatives who want to help shape the look and feel of this growing community event.

To be transparent — this is a volunteer effort. None of us are getting paid. Our goal is simple: create an amazing event for Hot Springs while raising money to help local people in need.

Food insecurity is real right here in Hot Springs and Garland County.

Across Arkansas, nearly 1 in 3 adults struggle at times to reliably put food on the table. That means families, seniors, and children in our own community are facing tough choices every single week.

That’s why Mardi Gras in the Spa exists.

The events we’re building — including our upcoming Masquerade Ball — are about more than celebration. They’re about helping feed people in our community who need it most.

We are currently looking for local businesses willing to donate items for our live auction and silent auction at the Masquerade Ball.

Every donated item helps us raise funds that go directly toward fighting food insecurity right here at home.
