More improvements underway on the Belle of Hot Springs!

We’re currently repainting the boat and giving her an all-new look. Stay tuned as we reveal the new color scheme and design in the coming weeks. We can’t thank everyone enough for the support, encouragement, and excitement throughout this restoration journey.

Our goal is to bring the Belle back to her former beauty while giving her a fresh new style all her own. What you’ll see when she returns will be unlike anything she’s looked like in the past.

Thank you for being part of the journey. The best is yet to come!

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet lately, but rest assured we’ve been hard at work on the Belle of Hot Springs!

Between ordering engine parts, electrical upgrades, and a lot of behind-the-scenes cosmetic work, we’re steadily moving forward every day. Coming soon you’ll see fresh paint, new lighting, and a brand-new walkway to the boat after the previous one was damaged during the storm.

Today we proudly raised a new flag on the Belle, and it was a great reminder of how far we’ve come—and how far we’re going.

If you pass by on the water or on land, give us a honk and a wave! Your support, encouragement, and excitement mean more to us than you know.

This isn’t a short-term project—it’s a long-term labor of love. We truly believe the finished product will be something special for Hot Springs, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us on this journey.

The best is yet to come!

This unique car / boat was a popular vehicle around the Hot Springs area in the 1960's and was often used to show real estate located on the lake to potential buyers. It could operate on a road or in the water and always got lots of attention! But in this case...oops... it leaked!
The car / boat sank Sunday May 19, 1966 in Lake Hamilton at Baywood Colony. It was raised May 27th by Diving Associates.

WE HAVE A NEW ROOF!
After several months of hard work and the help of multiple dedicated crews, we are excited to say that we have finally completed sealing the roof of the Belle of Hot Springs. She is officially dry, and that’s a huge milestone for us.
Now that the roof is sealed, we can move forward with interior work and continue bringing this beautiful boat back to life. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this process and to the community for all the continued support. We’re just getting started.

If you’ve driven by the Belle of Hot Springs over the past 3–4 weeks, you’ve probably noticed someone sandblasting every inch of this beautiful lady — rain, heat, cold, it hasn’t mattered.
I want to take a moment to introduce you to Cale Hollingsworth, one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met. His dedication and grit have played a huge role in bringing the Belle back to her former glory.

Thank you, Cale, for everything you’re doing to help restore this incredible piece of Hot Springs history.
