The only Constant is Change…
1. Days Applying the fretboard to the neck….final leveling and then fret wire application.
2. Application of fret wire to leveled fretboard… and then to neck.
Choosing to use the first application method…a hassle pounding or pressing fret wire o the fretboard already assembled to the ukulele and neck.
Solution, a modified fret press….
Ps. Spanish style construction neck to body preassembled not separate.

The ‘Ukulele Guild of Hawaii proudly presents the 26th Annual ‘Ukulele Guild of Hawaii Exhibition and Workshops…..a Hawaiian Experience on the grounds of the Bishop Museum.
Friday ‘Ukulele building workshops, November 20 from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
Saturday “Show and Tell” Exhibition of custom handcrafted ‘Ukulele and added demonstration and illustrations of a particular design feature incorporated in the “Ukulele on display. At the Watamull Atrium Complex from 9:00 am to 4:30pm.
A special display of the interior work of the various bracing systems chosen for ‘Ukulele Soundboard and Back plates and a completed ‘Ukulele
to play and hear.Fan Bracing, Lattice Bracing,Sonic V, Modified Kasha and Falcate examples for you to see and hear.
A super chance to actually see various design and the construction process of ‘Ukulele innovations.
Kanikapila throughout the day, so bring your ‘Ukulele, courtesy of the ‘Ukulele Project led by Larry Santos.

Event is free to the public.
There is a Parking fee posted.
Street parking free.

The Ukulele Guild of Hawai'i is dedicated to the preservation, perpetuation, and promotion of the 'ukulele as a significant cultural icon here on the island of its birth.
