🌴🎲🍹M A H J O N G ! 🍹🎲🌴

On Wednesday, August 6, we hosted GNO - Mahjong & Mingle at Montrose. It was a night of tiles, tunes, and tropical vibes! We had Mahjong tables for experienced players and beginners with three fabulous instructors - Meredith McAlexander, Natalie Lynch, and Brittany Lynch. We thank them so much for their time, knowledge, and patience!

Upon arrival, guests were provided a refreshing Montrose Mojito to sip while mingling until finding their assigned table. Once at their table, instructors helped with game set up and instructions. A plate of boardwalk bites - Cuban sandwiches, ceviche and chips, fruit, and key lime pie - was served to guests at their tables.

Instructors continued to help at each table while guests became focused while having fun! For a fun, adult “water break” Miami Vices were served to guests. We observed a lot of questions, a lot of fun, and shouting of “Mahjong!” We definitely hope we can bring back more Mahjong at Montrose!

South Beach comes to the South for our Girls’ Night Out - Mahjong & Mingle at Montrose! Join us Wednesday, August 6th from 6 - 8 PM for a night of tiles, tunes, and tropical vibes!

Whether you are an experienced player, or you are interested in learning, we have a Mahjong table for you! We will have 10 tables with 4 players at each table. Because of game play set up, tickets will be capped at 40 - no exceptions!

We will serve a delicious plate of boardwalk bites that showcase Caribbean and Latin American cuisine Miami is known for with items like Cuban sandwiches, ceviche, key lime pie, and more! As always, we will have refreshing, signature drinks - a Montrose Mojito and a Miami Vice!

B E A U T I E S & B A R S ❤️ 🤍 💙

Our first Girls’ Night Out of the summer was FIREWORKS! At this sold out event, we had the best vendors with M & B Co. Boutique & Hat Bar making the most fabulous hats that fit everyone’s style and personality! Freely Cece was there with the cutest scarf and charm necklaces, helping everyone carefully choose exactly what they wanted!

The Seasonal Events Committee had a fresh, Fourth-of-July favorites menu:

🍉 Watermelon Basil Salad, basil from Clancy's Cafe Chef and Owner Tyler Clancy’s personal garden
🌽 Grilled Corn Salsa, made with fresh produce - corn, green bellpepper, red onion, tomatoes, and jalapeños - from Carpenter Farms

We had the best night socializing and creating cute accessories! Reminder of our first Girls’ Night Out - GNO - Beauties & Bars - taking place NEXT Wednesday, July 2 from 5-8 PM. If you can’t make it there by 5 PM, no problem, join us when you can! We are starting earlier so everyone has time to make a custom hat and/or necklace! As a reminder, these will be paid for directly to our wonderful vendors - Freely Cece and M & B Co. Boutique & Hat Bar!

The ticket you purchase online is for refreshments provided by the HSGC! We will have a fresh, Fourth-of-July favorites menu: watermelon basil salad; grilled corn salsa; TikTok boat dip with tri-color tortillas; puff pastry wrapped hotdogs; mini burger sliders; and strawberry & blueberry trifle.
