Write your phone number on their wrist and cover it with liquid band aid in case you get separated.

Getting ready for our upcoming Girl Scout event. A local troop is using their cookie sales proceeds to purchase 2 animals each...one they get to keep as their new best friend and the other they are each donating to a child who may need a new best friend! How amazing is that?!?
We made up a special badge that each Girl Scout will receive as we think they are choosing a wonderful way to support other kids in the community! Hats off to their leaders for promoting such great giving conduct!

Yesterday we (Papabear, Buddy Bear and me - Mamabear) got to spend the day at the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children !
We have the best job EVER! This is the 4th time we have partnered with the hospital and donated teddy bears to every child-patient who wanted one!
This time was a bit different and as we were following COVID protocol, we did not get to see the kids. Instead we visited with them through the studio in the hospital. We were able to be broadcasted to every room in the hospital. We filled the kid selected teddy bears "on air". Then the bear, their wishing charm and birth certificate were all placed in a cute little box and the Care Life Team handled room deliveries.
We worked very closely with Frances, Jay and Antony from the hospital...what an amazing group of people!
This is one of my very favorite events to do...so glad we were able to get the visit arranged even with pandemic! I'm hoping the teddy bears bring lots of smiles!
