We had a wonderful time celebrating the San Benito Arts Council’s 20th anniversary at the beautiful Paicines Ranch! ✨

The Art of Eating was a delightful evening filled with incredible food, drinks, and live entertainment. We were especially proud to see student percussionists Scarlet Parker and Kyle Sanders deliver such a captivating performance. 🥁❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer Laine for inviting the Pinnacle Arts Association crew and for including two outstanding up-and-coming music scholars in the evening’s talent lineup. Events like these showcase the incredible artistic talent growing right here in our community. 🤩

This past weekend, hundreds of Hollister families packed up their costumes, dance shoes, and dreams and made the trip to the Mello Center in Watsonville for four incredible days celebrating the performing arts.

The San Benito Dance Foundation showcased the remarkable depth of talent in our community with two beautiful performances of Cinderella and two Showcase Recitals featuring hundreds of dancers in a wide variety of dance styles.

The senior performances, complete with heartfelt and meaningful tributes, made for an especially memorable and emotional weekend.

What this weekend demonstrated is something we’ve known all along: Hollister is rich in artistic talent. Our families are deeply committed to dance, music, theater, and the arts, and that passion has been passed down through generations.

At Pinnacle Arts Association, we believe our community deserves a home that reflects that commitment. It’s time to invest in the future of the arts by creating a professional theater, cultural arts center, and youth hub right here in Hollister—a place where our performers can shine, our students can grow, and our entire community can gather to celebrate creativity.
Our artists deserve a stage that matches their talent. Let’s build it together.

🎇 Stop by Hollister’s Ace Hardware starting Sunday afternoon-July 4th. Your support goes to HHS band and colorguard program. With our fundraising efforts we are able to keep our program free for our students! We travel and compete all around the Bay Area. 🥁 🎷 🎼

After 40 incredible years of teaching music in the Hollister School District, Ms. Susan Silveira is retiring. Throughout her career, she has poured her heart, time, and energy into inspiring thousands of students, sharing not just music, but a lifelong passion for it.

Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom—many of her students have gone on to study music at the university level and build careers in the field, a testament to her dedication and influence.

Sharing the love of music is a rare and meaningful gift, and our community has been truly fortunate to have Ms. Silveira.

Congratulations on your retirement, Ms. Silveira—you will be deeply missed!
