Night time installs that are outdoors can be tricky because of ambient lighting, or lack thereof.

Personally I never thought additional lighting or rope lighting in the balloon garland was a great solution. At least for my artistic style!

A ring light gives pretty good light…

But the best solution???! Using a flash!!!

All that to say, when a client is concerned about illumination for a photo op, ask more about the setup so you can help direct them to a solution that makes your balloon work shine big and bright!

Can balloons survive outside in cold temps?

YES!!!!!

It’s not always perfect as you’ll see in this video, but with preparation and knowledge, it can absolutely work.

I only use because I love their buttery soft stretch and color selections, but also because they PERFORM.

As for the sticking check I did, that’s more of a hot weather problem but you can never be too careful!

What happens if they stick?

They pop. But that’s a topic for another day!

Big balls are quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE props!

Why?

They fill up so much space as a reusable prop and help cut back on non reusable materials like balloons.

Don’t get me wrong— I clearly LOVE balloons, but I also love finding new ways to make a statement install with creative solutions to budget limitations.

Something this size and impact with just balloons? Like 40-50 balloon clusters, aka $$$$. Swap out 30-40 of those clusters for this and you’re looking at $$.

Obvi there are special considerations where the cost may still be steep, BUT big balls can absolutely be a solution to budget constraints.

Have you thought about adding these to your inventory? Which color would you add first?!?

Just a stay at home mom who built something from a wild idea🤪

Things you may not know about me:

• I despised balloons until I found the dreamy
• I am completely self taught— I never spent significant money on courses or resources (and I feel very passionate about this now as I mentor/coach)
• I never considered myself artistic, although I laugh at myself for that now!

My passion is teaching balloon garlands that make a statement and that are built the same way each time to make your job as an artist easier and more efficient!
