Last weekend today I said yes to a last minute elopement picnic for a beautiful couple and their family to celebrate one of life’s biggest milestones, marriage🤍 💍 ✨

This was my first elopement picnic, I was excited to be part of this special day. Upon arriving to chosen destination from the couple, it didn’t feel right. It wasn’t what I would imagine my special day to be and I knew instantly I had to fix that for them. Thankfully I arrived with enough time to find the best location at the park for them. I stayed & offered to take pictures and record their ceremony. (I am no professional photographer/videographer) I did my best 😬 I just knew I needed to make the day extra special for them. I was able to use my picnic decor for a improv alter. In my head the entire time i wish I brought more stuff. I strive to offer my clients the best possible experience and I felt like I let them down. I was hired for a picnic celebration after the I dos, not the actual ceremony. I’m grateful to have acted quickly and with some creativity with what I had in hand and my camera. It was simple small but their elopement was spent with those who matter most, their family. It was a beautiful reminder that not every moment needs to be big and lavish. Just surrounded by those you love the most. Reminded me of why I started my little business, to create memories to share with loved ones to last a lifetime through my beautiful curated picnics. 🧺🤍✨

My heart was full by the end of the day after all the love and gratitude I received from this beautiful family. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your day and thank you for the best reminder that moments shared with your loved ones no matter where you are is what makes the moment special 🤍✨
