Yesterday’s wedding was one for the books! Anyone who is a fan of the gilded age or a fan of Bridgeton will fall in love with this one! This small intimate wedding was at the Larz Anderson House in DC. Built in 1905 it makes for a beautiful setting for this size wedding with no kids. 😆 “no touching”

Went out for a walkthrough today in Bethesda and while I was driving there I noticed the traffic bumper to bumper all the way to Bethesda on the opposite side, so I thought what can I do to kill more time after my walkthrough…🤔 Georgetown Cupcake!! Yes! Just a 1.5 miles away! I haven’t had one of their cupcakes for many years! I did their cupcakes for my wedding way before cupcakes were a thing at weddings! Today I got key lime pie, vanilla, cherry blossom and cherry cheesecake “Yum!”

Went to Lost Rhino brewery today for a fun Valloween Party and met some great vendors but these few vendors I decided to feature because they are awesome for couples who want something different for their weddings.
Kate’s Truffles, yummy chocolates that you can give your guests as a favor. Her chocolates are so good, and you know she’s using premo ingredients because her chocolates leave no aftertaste on your tongue!
Then there was Howdy Brews in their adorable mobile bar! The cutest husband and wife team out there making delicious coffee beverages. How fun would it be to offer up delicious coffee drinks at your wedding. Their daughter brings a mean bubble wand to the party but you’ll have to pay extra for her expertise 😆
And for more sweetness there’s Lupita’s Lil Bites bite sized pillowy pancakes topped with all kinds of fun stuff!

Weddings are always so much fun but they are even funnier when it’s New Years Eve with Virginia Tech Alumni as your guests! It was a lot of work but I couldn’t have done it without the awesome crew at Westfields Golf Club! You guys are awesome! Dj David Grimm had them on the dance floor all night and made even more special for the crowd! Happy New Year!

We had a lovely micro wedding at Del Mar on the Wharf last night! Diana & Boudy came down from Canada to be close to family for the holidays and tie the knot while they were here. Everyone from Del Mar were the BEST! Highly recommend! Thank you Donna for all your help, you were awesome!

Great Day down in DC yesterday at the Patterson Mansion! Lots of fun was had by all attending Eleanor & Yassine’s wedding. It was a very traditional wedding with our first time ever receiving line. The flowers were beautiful from “Ferdinand Loves Flowers” a brides dream! And the Bachelor Boys had the place jumping. If you’re looking for a unique venue check out the mansion the staff is great!

We kicked off the season with Kelly & Micah at Halcyon Watson in Leesburg, Va. Such a sweet couple that was surrounded by so much love that day!
