The Daviess County Public Library is inviting local artisans to showcase their work in a new community event this fall. The library will transform its outdoor Reading Garden into a lively open-air craft fair on September 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Join Us for the Annual Trail of Tears Pow Wow in Hopkinsville!
📅 When: Saturday–Sunday, Sept. 6–7
📍 Where: Trail of Tears Commemorative Park, 1730 E. 9th Street, Hopkinsville, KY
🎟️ Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for ages 7–12, and free for kids 6 & under; free parking

What to Expect:
-Grand Entries both days at 1 PM (plus a Saturday evening session)
-Prize-winning dance and drum contests for all age groups—over $3,000 awarded to drum groups alone!
-Cultural performances: intertribal dancing, sacred songs, flute playing, storytelling, and more
-Vendors offering fry bread, Indian tacos, buffalo burgers, crafts, and traditional Native American art
-Family-friendly fun: face painting, free crafts for kids, and a sensory-friendly environment on Sunday morning

Please know this is NOT affiliated with Bluegrass in the Park in any way.
We do NOT collect vendor payments through any third-party apps or outside individuals.

If you receive a suspicious message or email, do not respond or send any payment. Instead, please contact us directly through our official page or by email so we can verify any legitimate communication.
