It’s Wednesday which means tomorrow the flower stand will be open with plenty of fresh flowers and pumpkins. This will probably be the last weekend that flowers will be available 😔. With fall harvest right around the corner a majority of my time is now shifted to other (less colorful) plants.

🎃The pumpkins on the other hand will be available all fall at our Hebron stand as well as Petals and Pumpkins in Wheatfield.

💐There will also be some exciting things happening for next year that I will announce soon.

Awhile I go I was contacted by a fellow flower enthusiast. She was looking for pumpkins for her farm stand. Tonight we made that happen. I can’t believe it is almost September and summer will soon be a thing of the past. I have already seen giant Jack Skeleton’s in yards and pumpkins. Not going to lie kinda excited about pumpkins. Since we will be having some available after Labor Day. But the Halloween decorations were a little soon for me.

Speaking of Labor Day….whos partying this weekend?🙋‍♀️ Our flower stand will be open Thursday-Sunday with a special Labor Day arrangement. Perfect to take as a hostess gift to those parties this weekend. They will be small jar arrangements at $15 each. The vase, water, and flower arranging is already done for you. Waking up this morning it is really starting to feel like fall. I’m not ready for summer to be over, and Labor Day is just around the corner.

What’s been going on in the flower garden lately? Nothing compared to what’s going on outside of it 😆. We had a lot of jar bouquets go out this past weekend. And they were all so fun to put together. More dahlias are starting to bloom. So hopefully they will start making their way into some bouquets as well. I have also started drying some different zinnias in hopes of saving seeds for next year. Fall seed plantings also starting. This is something I have never done before. I have a very “just wing it” attitude towards things. So we will see how it goes. I will try to document it but I’m not very good at that either 🤣.
