These are zinnias! Can you even believe it? They were a gift from the garden of my friend, Krystal, at LEKH Farms. They are stunning! And get this: she didn’t plant a single one this season. They replanted themselves and came back with a beautiful vengeance, if there is such a thing. (In my mind, there is ha!)

I always say that anyone can grow zinnias because they practically grow themselves. But these… Krystal has the prettiest zinnias I’ve ever seen. Check out her fb page for her farm’s open hours. She likes to give tours and may even share some special zinnias.

“My yard is a jungle!” I say this all the time with a defeated shrug like-I give up! It is in fact a jungle, but how about I give it some jungle love! These kiddos see it as an adventure, a play area, a space for creativity. Never mind I don’t remember planting half the things in it. It’s lush and green from all the rain and any dinosaur would love it.

It’s summertime! And just like that-the heat is on! I’m so glad the flowers are fresh and markets are hoppin’. I’m as “glad” as a bee buzzing through the gladiolas. (Although he mooned me as I tried to snap a photo).

Our customers were clever and into the spirit of the festival, while the Hampton Cove Wedding Venue was the perfect setting. I don’t think I stop to say “thank you” enough to our customers who appreciate local fresh flowers and clean products. So thank you! I love flowers anyway, but it sure is nice to find some kindred spirits out there who share pictures of your own garden ventures and have confidence in natural, plant-based products. It’s our pleasure to hear your success stories!
