I had the most amazing opportunity this weekend. This couple has sacrificed so much in order to fulfill their life long dreams of having a baby. Love has definitely proven that anything is possible when you have it together.

The girls and I counted roughly 50 American White Pelicans and we learned something fascinating about them today. They work as a team and synchronize their beaks into the water for gathering fish. It's really fun to watch. Along with the record amount of Pelicans, we have a record amount of Cormorants. We lost count after 70. And one of my favorites is back; the Black Headed Seagulls. They are just too cute!!

My Grandmother, Marybell Bird was an avid bird watcher. I remember her always taking me out to parks and out in the country with binoculars and telling me all about what birds we were looking at. She would bring her bird books and we would discuss where they were traveling to and from. I guess I never got tired of it and still love looking at them. Their freedom and graceful way about them. I love how they exist with other bird species and yet seem to get along most times (except when the predators come around). I love sharing their beauty and hope you can appreciate them, too.
