A little sneak peek of the bride and grooms rooms that are almost done.

Lyndsey went with a classy bright white aesthetic in the brides room, and I chose a dim lit log cabin/cigar lounge vibe for the grooms room, both of which are completely on brand.

I know we’re not technically building this for ourselves, but you sure wouldn’t know it by looking at it 😂

The main room interior is finally coming together! This board was salvaged and cut from beams from a cotton gin that was built in the 1850s. Installing it is like a jigsaw puzzle with no picture. It is tedious, dusty, and worth every bit of energy it’s taking to make it look perfectly imperfect!

Our porch is very near it’s final form! The columns are all wrapped and stained and today we got the ceiling installed.

Next week is drywall and interior finishes, and that’s going to make it go from feeling like a construction site to a nearly finished product in just a matter of days. We can’t wait to share it!
