I’m starting Monday morning off with a recipe! A family favorite : Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp!

Our Daughter Kyla created this recipe several years ago because her ranch was overflowing with rhubarb plants.

This recipe has been a favorite of our family’s since then.
Served for family get-togethers,on the homestead cattle drives for hungry cowboys& gals and in the catering business.

Rhubarb plants used to be prolific out here in the west I don’t hear nor see any mention of them hardly at all anymore so I thought it might be nice to share ours.
Of course, our favorite way to serve it is with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream… My favorite: Breyers natural vanilla, can’t go wrong with natural.

Years ago I planted numerous Salvia plants throughout my front and backyard to attract honeybees, bumblebees and any number of Salvia loving insects to partake. It did the trick!

After 35 years, the Sylvia has grown plentiful & graces the front & backyard every spring and most of the summer 🐝 🐝 🐝

A beautiful small wedding in the mountains with friends….. and delicious Grazing😍
No fancy wedding cake… instead I made our yummy Blackberry Brandy Chocolate Chip Ganache cake and included a variety of sweet treat favorites of the bride and groom .

They loved it all ❤️❤️ and I loved making it for them.
