Learnin' Stuff about Earth Day was a hit at Brown School last week. The kids made GIANT Earth Day posters, read a book called Earth Ninja, planted seeds into their pocket greenhouses, and stuffed their choice of small plush animals which are endangered, threatened or vulnerable species.

With our eco-friendly plush animals, made from recycled materials, these kids literally "made a new friend" while doing something kind for our planet.

Come see us at Puzzles 5K on April 25th in Danbury!

Puzzles Marathon is an inclusive, city-backed community run supporting the autism community through awareness, accessibility, and connection. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where people of all abilities can come together, move, connect, and celebrate neurodiversity.
This run is officially sanctioned by USA Track & Field and timed by FastTrack Timing.
You don't need to run or be professionally timed to be part of this run, you can walk or jog.

Runner & Event Highlights
All runners receive a race shirt + professional timing
We’ve partnered with Orangetheory Fitness:
2 coaches will lead a pre-race warm-up/stretch
All runners receive 3 free classes

We’ve also partnered with DYAO, who will have a 15-member dance team at the finish line as a hype team to cheer on every participant

Festival Experience (FREE to attend)
In addition to the 5K, the event will feature:

Live music throughout the day
Food trucks
Kids Zone
Sensory-friendly zone
Vendor Village & Sponsor Village
Guest speakers and community leaders

Families and community members can attend and enjoy the festival without participating in the race.

Community Impact
As part of our mission, the 1st place runner will draw from a hat, and one of the autism-focused organizations present at the event will receive a $1,000 donation. This ensures that funds go directly back into local community resources.

Key Event Timeline
8:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Runner check-in (day-of registration available)

Parking for runners: PAL building (350+ spots, next to the park)
10:15 AM – 10:40 AM: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (Mayor + special guests speaking)
~10:45 AM: Race Start
1:00 PM: Awards Ceremony
