Sunfinity is easy to grow & blooms throughout the growing season. It is a very low maintenance plant. Sunfinity grows 36-48” tall in full sun.
It is a perfect plant for birds & other pollinators. You can also cut the blooms and bring indoors to enjoy!

Here's how it works:
We design a handtied (without vase) bouquet of summer flowers. You/or someone else you trust picks up the bouquet at our store the 2nd & 4th Thursday through June, July, & August. Our summer subscription start this Thursday on June 9th! These bouquets feature locally grown flowers like zinnias, sunflowers, lisianthus and more.
Cost: $180.00 for 6 bouquets.

June 23rd, 10:30-11:15 AM- Bad bug and good bug workshop!
Join us as we learn all about the fascinating world of insects! We’ll even create a small garden for our pollinator friends. We’ll learn all about flowers that attract these wonderful friends to our yards and plants that keep pesty bugs away.
June 30thth, 10:30 AM- 11:15 AM- Life is full of color (Art and Garden)!
In this workshop, we’ll explore the world of color! We’ll talk about color in nature, do some painting, and create a living color wheel to take home. Wear paint clothes!
July 7th, 10:30 AM-11:15 AM- Horton Hears a Who!
In this workshop, we’ll read the beloved ‘Horton Hears a Who!’ book by Dr. Suess. We’ll play a Horton Hears a Who inspired game and finish by planting a truffla plant inspired by the book.
July 21st, 10:30 AM- 11:15 AM- Salsa Party
It’s a salsa party! Who loves fresh salsa? We most certainly do! In this workshop, we’ll learn about the life of a tomato from seed, plant, fruit and into salsa. We’ll join Mrs. Miller as she teaches us how to make fresh garden salsa. We’ll even sample different salsas and make some to take home.
Cost: $15 per workshop or $50 for all 4 (save $10).

Everyone needs a basket for their houseplant! Join us for a basket weaving workshop! In this workshop, we learn from a basket weaving expert, Shirley Turner. She’ll instruct us in weaving a beautiful basket for a 6-8” houseplant. This class is for beginners. We are so excited to learn from her!
Cost: $45.00 (includes weaving supplies, a pot, & instruction. Plants are additional).

5 perennials for pollinators
There's still plenty of time to plant! Did you know you can plant perennials all season long? We recommend during the heat of summer to keep your perennials well- watered.
Perennials are a great addition to any garden providing color throughout the season. Unlike annuals that only grow for one growing season, perennials return the following year.
As you add perennials to the landscape, one of the great benefits is that perennials provide a habitat for pollinators. While you sit on your patio drinking your morning coffee, you can watch the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds enjoying your flowers!
Here's 5 full sun perennials that attract pollinators:
Dianthus is a gorgeous perennial growing 6-8” in the full sun. It blooms during the summer months with striking fire-red blooms.
Monarda (Bee Balm) is one of the showiest summer- blooming perennials! Its colorful flower-heads create a captivating border display.
Monarda grows 1-4’ in full sun.
Gaillardia grows 12-14” in full sun and blooms throughout the summer months. Its flowers are red petals tipped in yellow. Gaillardia requires very little care and is drought tolerant once established.
Coreopsis (Tickseed) grows 12-16” in the full sun. It produces gorgeous golden-yellow flowers during the summer months. You can also pinch off the dead blooms to encourage more blooms.
Salvia (Meadow Sage) is an easy to grow perennial with vibrant blooms! It grows 14-18” in full sun. Once it is done blooming, you can trim it back to encourage it to bloom again.

Over the years, Mrs. Miller & her tea party gals have hosted beautiful tea parties in the Greenville area. Today, she’s bringing that tea party magic to our greenhouse. After the tea party, we’ll use our teacups to create a little teacup planter to take home.
