🌈💍 Hello friends! My name is Mike Patterson, and I’m an ordained minister here to help celebrate your love.
I became licensed back in 2019 after my cousin, who is transgender, had their officiant cancel last minute. Living in a very conservative Christian county, it was nearly impossible to find someone willing to perform their marriage, and I thought that was unacceptable. I got my license to help, they thankfully got a replacement in time, but since then, I’ve realized how important it is to create safe, welcoming, and affirming ceremonies for everyone.
Originally, I only planned to officiate for friends and family, but with the way LGBTQIA+ marriages are being questioned in our current climate, I want to do more. Love is love, and everyone deserves to celebrate it without barriers.
