Today was busy but fun. After I officiated a very sweet emotional outdoors wedding then off I went to experience the Arabian Nights Event in Grand Rapids, MI. The food was amazing and the belly dances. Our city is so beautiful. Downtown was packed with various events going on but this made it that much more magical!

Today in Grand Rapids, I had the honor to officiate a wedding ceremony for two lovely brides. It was heart felt as grandma was crying, while the private ceremony was held under a covered-gazebo and soft rain falling. It touches my heart to witness loving families celebrate together, laugh and cry. For me, I feel like if time slows down as I speak each word and just feel the loving enegy of the couple. It was a beautiful celebration. Congratulations to the newly weds, and I wish you the very best in your new chapter of life.

Life can get very busy. When I'm not working or officiating wedding ceremonies, I sure love to enjoy the outdoors with my daughter. Staying active sure helps with stress management in my experience, grounding and being present. Trails are awesome and Grand Rapids has so many of them. Make sure you give yourself some time to enjoy a hobby and just be yourself.
