I’ve been going through my likes on SoundCloud and unliking a large amount of tracks in my *liked songs* list.
Those who have talked to me know that it’s not really a secret that I use Repost Chains for my music. A massive reason I’ve been able to connect with many friends and gain a sizable amount of fans is because of Repost Chains.
There is just too much music and reposted to my SC that is not unique, and is indistinguishable cause it sounds like people are either using the same samples, same instrument presets, or same song structure. Most of the music I hear in the repost chains just sounds so generic.
Im not the best at making music by any means but I try to make stuff that I want to hear and not what’s necessarily going to pop off or fit the formula.
I guess all of this is to say I’m really not interested in turning my love for producing music into a popularity contest 🙂
