Job Description:
The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office currently has an opening for a highly motivated Registered Nurse who desires to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Applicants must have a current RN license in Ohio, be a graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program, and hold a valid CPR/AED/BLS certification.
The current opening requires two 12-hour shifts on rotating weekends (7 PM - 7 AM) and two 8-hour shifts on weekdays (11 PM - 7 AM). The position offers competitive pay with step increases, excellent medical benefits, paid sick leave, vacation days, personal days, and holidays. Additionally, it includes a defined benefit pension plan and participation in the Ohio Deferred Compensation program.
The starting wage is $36.60 per hour and increases to $39.27 after the first full year.
