In this picture you may only see two girls that are dressed in black caught in a quick moment of joy after working all day, wrapping up the end of a beautiful event. When we look at this picture, it is that but it’s also so much more than that for us. This picture holds more deep down than what you can see on your screen. It is six years of hard work, building a business together, tears, prayers, sacrifices, vendors turned into friends, and clients that have believed in us and supported us along the way. Some days were really hard and some days have been easy.
Building this business has meant leaving our families on the weekends and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone at times. Trying new things, trusting our teams, stressing, and rejoicing! Answering emails and texts day and night even when we were juggling raising babies, growing our families, managing difficult times, and still trying to be present in our own lives and jobs. We say all of this to say, we don’t expect anyone to feel sorry for us or get recognition that we don’t deserve. We prayed for this.
We say all of this to show you that behind a small business is just this, people, real people doing what they love and hoping and praying each day that it is successful. So thank you, for all of those that have given us a chance and that allow us to play even a small role in one of the biggest days of your lives. We continue to do this because we love it, it’s our passion and we cannot see ourselves doing anything else but serving our clients in this way. Each wedding is us, two sisters living out our dream job.
