We love having the Girl Time Getaways come visit us on their weekend mystery trips and were lucky enough to have them visit our flower farm twice in a few weeks.

We knew when booking an Oct 10th visit, there may not have been flowers, but fortunately that was not the case!

Kyle asked me, “Of all the side businesses you’ve had over the years, which has been your favorite… photography, teaching art classes, or flowers?”

Honestly, I don’t know that I could choose just one. I’ve loved them all in different ways and each one has brought me joy. And the more I think about it, the more I realize how much they all overlap.

Photography taught me to notice the little things… the way light falls, the beauty in the details, or the perfect angle.

Teaching art is about exploring color, texture, creativity, and helping others see the beauty in what they create.

And flowers? Well, they bring all of those things together in the most beautiful way.

I spent all Sunday afternoon labeling and tagging dahlias and at the end of the day, I made sure to take a little time to just have fun and enjoy them.

Maybe that’s what I love most about all three. They give me a reason to slow down, notice the details, play with color and light, and create something beautiful. And using my creativity is what truly brings me joy.

Different passions, but somehow they are all connected. 💕

🌸 Goodbye, 2026 U-Pick Season. 🌸

It has been a year and God has been so good!!

Less than 2 years ago, we were dreaming about what this flower farm could possibly become, and not really sure what to expect.

Today, as I stood in the middle of the woods, surrounded by fallen leaves, I began reflecting on this past season and all the miracles we have experienced along the way.

They were many long, hard and hot days of prepping the field, planting, pulling weeds, and then pulling more weeds! Not many get to see this part as it all happens before the beauty begins to show and before we open the field for others to enjoy.

But, then there came the part where we got to share it with everyone and it made all those hard moments worth it. And man, did you all show up for us this year!! 🥹 From every event, market, and U-picks, we were blown away by all who took the time to come visit and support us!

Our second U-Pick season has officially come to an end.

Thank you for being part of it. 💕

We’ll keep growing, dreaming, planning and dreaming some more through the winter.

But for now…

Goodbye, 2026 U-Pick season.

🌸 LAST DAY OF U-PICKS 🌸

Yesterday was 90°… because apparently Minnesota wanted to give us one last taste of summer.

Today we’re getting a beautiful 64° fall day—and it feels like the perfect way to close out our 2026 U-Pick season. 🍂

These flowers have been such a gift this year. We’ve watched them grow from tiny seeds and starts into something that brought so many people through our gates, down our little trail through the woods and into the flower field.

So if you’ve been thinking, “I really should get out there one more time…”

THIS IS YOUR DAY!!
We will be open from 9 AM–7 PM

Come pick one last bouquet, take a few pictures, wander the field, and enjoy a beautiful fall day at Blooming Acre. The trail is beautiful with all the leaves on the ground.

We’d love to see you one last time before we close our U-Picks for the 2026 season.

And just like that… our second season is coming to a close. 🥹

We are open today and tomorrow from 9am-7pm.

Just a heads up…if you want to avoid a crowd, we have a bus of ladies coming today from 3-4pm.

🌸 Only 5 days left! 🌸

It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the end of our 2026 U-Pick season. 🥹🌸

The dahlias are still putting on a show, the fall colors are settling in, and there are just 5 more days to wander the field, fill a cup with blooms, and enjoy a little time at the farm.

If you’ve been saying “I still need to make it out!” — this is your sign. 😉

U-Pick is open:
Monday • 4–7 PM
Thursday • 4–7 PM
Friday • 9 AM–7 PM
Saturday • 9 AM–7 PM
Sunday • 9 AM–7 PM

We’ll close the field for the season Sunday, October 11.

We did get a little frost last night, but a majority of our flowers made it without too much damage.

With that being said we for sure have one more weekend of U-Picks!!

We are open Fri-Sun from 9am-8pm or you can find us at the Arthur Market tomorrow.
