This weekend was truly one for the books—a celebration I’ll always hold close to my heart. From the moment the festivities began, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, community members, and fellow rodeo enthusiasts. Being surrounded by so many incredible people who came together to make this event special was a reminder of why I love rodeo and this community so deeply.
The energy from the crowd was absolutely electric! Everyone came ready to cheer, smile, and soak in all the excitement that makes rodeo season so unforgettable. We were lucky enough to welcome eight visiting royalty, each bringing their own sparkle and spirit to the weekend. Their presence added even more pride and pageantry to the celebration.
One of the most meaningful highlights was the crowning of our 2026 Ketchum Kalf Rodeo Queen, Taryn. Watching her step into her new role with grace and enthusiasm brought back so many memories of my own crowning moment. It’s incredible to witness the continuation of this tradition and to know the legacy of rodeo queenship is in such capable hands.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the army of volunteers who dedicate their time, effort, and hearts to making this event a success. From organizing the parade and coordinating royalty to setting up arenas and welcoming guests, your hard work does not go unnoticed. You are the backbone of this rodeo, and I am endlessly thankful for all that you do.
The 90th Ketchum Kalf Rodeo was packed with laughter, cheers, memories, and milestones. It was a celebration of not just rodeo, but of community, tradition, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us—whether you were in the stands, on horseback, behind the scenes, or simply cheering us on in spirit. Here’s to a weekend we’ll never forget and to many more ahead!
With a grateful heart,
Lindsay Terry
