In a few short weeks, on Sunday, May 18th at 3 pm, Music On The Divide welcomes the celebrated American pianist Thomas Pandolfi back to the IOOF Hall in Georgetown. Pandolfi's first appearance in Georgetown was 7 years ago, and he made a lasting impression. He is an exciting virtuoso who is becoming more sought-after by worldwide audiences. An outstanding cross-over artist, Pandolfi can switch from Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Bernstein, and Marvin Hamlisch. He will be giving two concerts, one for MOTD's regular concert season on Sunday, the 18th, and another performance on Monday, May 19th for school children from Georgetown School and Northside School - the Monday school concert funded, in part, by our members' generous donations to the James and Ilse White Student Concert Fund. Tickets to Sunday's concert are available on eventbrite.org, and, as space allows, will be on sale at the door (cash or check only), $25 for adults, $5 for students, children 5 and under are free. Doors open at 2 pm for Music On The Divide members and online ticket holders, and at 2:30 for others. Complimentary refreshments will be available at intermission (donations gladly accepted). For more information, go to musiconthedivide.org or see our page. Please join us for a not-to-be-missed concert.
