Highlighting more on Meadowview Magnet Middle School's baseball team today. Yesterday I introduced the 8th graders so today I will highlight the rest of the team. I am missing a few players and thankfully we have just a few more games this season, so I should be able to capture everyone!

For those who have followed me from day 1, thank you! For those who are just now finding me, I am happy to have you here. As mentioned in my previous post, its been a while so lets catch up!

I'll spotlight Liam today.

Since my last post, Liam has taken on a few new roles. Big brother (again), middle schooler, teenager, and now baseball player. Liam has played baseball before, but only 1 season due to him trying all the sports, and I literally mean all of them, until he figured out which he liked the most. When he started middle school, he decided to focus more on baseball. And here we are, gearing up for his 8th grade night this coming up week and I am not sure I am mentally prepared with this being his last few weeks of middle school ball.

With the approval of all parents, I was able to capture a few photos from last nights game to share with you all Liam and his fellow 8th grade teammates. Watching this team grow from 6th grade to now has been such a pleasure.

ERM. HI!!

If you have forgotten, my name is Samantha and I do photography. I know it has been a while. A REALLY, long while lol. Life has been in full swing the past couple years and I have put my photography on the back end. With moving (yes, we moved again lol) and with my regular full time job it has been hard to juggle the smaller things that bring me joy in this life. I've made it a point to make time for these little thing that bring joy this year and I have a few projects rolling out soon!

Today we are celebrating Luke! Luke graduated this week from Providence Grove High School. Just like Madison, I’ve known Luke since he was a baby. It’s so crazy to even think that he can drive, let alone be graduating high school. Congratulations, Luke! 🥳

Our very good friends, Patrick and Ashley, are expecting their first baby come this July and I had the pleasure of documenting their maternity photos. I can't wait until baby Mickey is here to join our little boy club we have already.... and of course, baby lovins'!

It's a crazy time for us all, and I can only imagine what our Seniors are going through as well. Madison is a high school senior this year and during our session she was explaining to me that everything is online, there is no extra curricular activities, no pep rallies, nothing.

It took me back to my senior year, (class of 09' whoop-whoop) and how much fun I had. From the Friday night football games, the bonfires, parties, pep rallies, basketball games, everything that a senior should be able to do; and these guys are being robbed of that. My heart aches for these guys.

But Madison has such a bright future ahead of her, and thankfully I am able to watch her take it by the horns and crush it. I have known Madison since the day she was born and I cannot believe I was able to take her senior portraits. Un. real.
