Someday, the Christmas mornings you take for granted will be the ones you'd give anything to have back. ❤️🎄
The excitement of Christmas Eve. The magic of Santa. Waking up Christmas morning believing with your whole little heart that anything was possible.
My mom LOVED Christmas. And she absolutely loved Santa.
Looking back, I realize so much of that magic came from her. She was the one making it happen, creating memories I didn’t know I’d spend the rest of my life holding onto.
And this year, facing my first Christmas without her, I’d give anything for just one more Christmas morning together.
It’s funny how we grow up thinking Christmas is about the presents, only to realize it was always about the people who made it magical.
And that’s why photographs mean so much to me.
Because children grow up. Traditions change. And sometimes the people who made Christmas so special are no longer here.
But those memories? Those are everything. ❤️
