Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive General Manager who will take full ownership of their assigned homes in Galveston, TX. This role is all about ensuring each property operates at the highest standards, offering a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. This individual will be responsible for the upkeep, guest satisfaction, and performance of the homes, taking on a hands-on role to enhance each property’s value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take full ownership of assigned properties, ensuring they meet Vacay Time’s high standards of quality and comfort.
• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with maintenance teams to keep homes in pristine condition.
• Oversee the guest experience from check-in to check-out, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues or feedback promptly.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to maintain property appeal while maximizing value.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and on-site amenities to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for guests.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, safety standards, and Vacay Time policies.
• Take initiative in identifying opportunities for property enhancements that can elevate the guest experience.
Work Environment:
This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak season days, to meet the needs of our guests. This is not a standard Monday-to-Friday position; the General Manager must be adaptable and available during high-demand periods to maintain exceptional service standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance and repair processes.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between properties.
