From ba****ck riding to English and Western styles, I’ve experienced it all. My name is Aspen Mason, and I'm turning 18 this summer. My love for horses began at the age of 5, starting with ba****ck riding, where I rode without a saddle. I was determined to be close to horses, so I embraced the freedom of ba****ck riding for three years before stepping into the world of English riding and jumping. By age 9, I was jumping on full-sized horses, fully aware of my passion. Yet, the competitive nature of jumping wasn’t for me, so I took a break to reassess my journey.

Then, my family embarked on an adventure, traveling the country in our RV. We had a blast exploring the beauty of America, which allowed me to grow and reflect. Four years later, we settled in Missouri, and my heart was ready to ride again. My mom discovered a stable in Ava, where I began my journey into Western riding, building on the foundation I had from my earlier experiences.

After exploring various barns and ranches, I now have two horses of my own—a dream that once felt distant has become a beautiful reality!

This all started with a little girl, a pony, and a birthday party.
Like so many little girls, my sister loves unicorns. For her birthday, we decided to do something special—we dressed up our pony, Hazel, and surprised my sister with unicorn rides.

When Hazel stepped out, ready and waiting, and I walked over with her… the look on my sister’s face stopped me cold. Pure joy. The kind of joy you don’t forget. In that moment, it hit me, this feeling shouldn’t belong to just one child.

Hazel has always loved children. She’s gentle, patient, and calm, and honestly, she couldn’t ask for a better job than making kids smile.

Hazel and Friends is about making memories that last. Both with friends and family, Hazel is here to make that happen.
