we did a bridal session in March at Historic Oak View Park in Raleigh and it was a perfect backdrop {with it's southern charm} for her white, off the shoulder dress and that flowing ribbon from her beautiful bouquet 😍
JAKE & KATIE were married last weekend and it was full of so many sweet family moments >>> this is my nephew and {new} niece so seeing them spend this day with their loved ones is extra special to me ❤️ ...since they are my loved ones too 🤗 it was such a privilege to be a witness to every part of their day and capture some of those moments with my camera.

BRITTANY & SAMUEL'S August 1st wedding was the perfect summer day ... complete with summer storms that worked around our timeline and brought the sun back out at all the right moments ❤️
All the details were beautiful, but completely outshined by the bride & groom ... SAMUEL is totally over the moon for Brittany... you could see it in the way he looked at her the whole day. And BRITTANY is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She and her girls know how to have fun too, they were the best to be around.

ANNA & BRANDON were originally planning for this big celebration last MAY. And we all know what was happening last spring, but they did not let that ruin their dreams and plans. They were married on their original date and saved this fun celebration for their one year anniversary, renewing vows and doing all the beautiful things with their best friends and family members. Nothing could be better.

i love learning and i’ve always needed a creative outlet. i didn’t always have a strong foundation in photography, but phew, i took a lot of pictures! i did go to school for graphic design and have always enjoyed art. i doodled a lot ... mostly of cats ... and i love to talk. random, i know.
back to the photography thing ... as most moms who get a nice camera at some point after having kids, i decided it would be a fun challenge to learn how to really use my nice camera. so i started obsessing and learning all the photography stuff. and it didn’t take long for me to find a love for photographing other people. and what i think i love the most about photographing other people is capturing natural connections and fun interactions. it’s a common theme with photographers these days, but there’s a reason for this. having an image of you and your loved ones that feels natural and genuine is an amazing treasure. i love capturing that for people. so that’s what i try to do, each and every time.
i currently focus on several areas of important moments in people’s lives ... families (older & brand new), high school seniors, couples & weddings.
