It’s that time of year again! Bouts & corsages (silk) are in the works for .specialneeds 2025 through the This is year FIVE for to be a part of this ✨magical evening✨ for the Kings & Queens!

Being a florist of over 15 years, I am so blessed to not only provide wedding florals but also in serving the community!! When you’re using the gifts God has given you to love on people…it’s the BEST feeling in the world. Hello & happy New Year!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything so felt it was appropriate to check-in & share what’s happening at Anchored Floral.

I’m Cindy, owner of Anchored Floral. In September 2023 I moved from the Raleigh area to Boone and with any move, there’s a season of grounding & discovery. I put AF on the back burner as we were also doing a massive renovation of a 86 year old farmhouse + I accepted an HR role (I have always worked full time in HR while being a small business owner). I love both 💕 I was able to squeeze in some florals for events, a STUNNING wedding at The Distillery and bridal party florals at Appalachian View in 2024 and 2025 has some exciting things coming.

So what’s next? I’m excited to announce that I am officially scheduling 2026 weddings for BOTH the greater Raleigh area (will forever have my heart) & Boone! My schedule is wide open. Side note: I only book 1 event a month so those weekends can fill up quickly!

Reflecting back on the colorful palette and everything that went into .sunshine & wedding. September 21, 2024 was for the books. First wedding we have ever done without ONE stem of greenery. Every bloom boasted an array from pastel to vivid color and together they brought magic. Was it more work? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Hi!

My name is Cindy and Anchored Floral is my little baby. My mom has been by my side since I moved my floral business from southern CA to Raleigh, NC in 2017. We’ve had the best time serving that area and meeting the BEST clients & vendors and working in some of the most beautiful & coolest venues in that area.

However, in September 2023, I moved to the High Country and so did my floral business (& hubby). Don’t worry - I’m still serving Raleigh, just in a limited fashion. I’m beginning to plant my roots here and I’ve booked a couple weddings for 2024. Opening my books for summer & Fall 2024 and 2025!

I’m still only focusing on weddings, corporate events, and special events. I still work full time in Boone so florals continue to be my creative outlet & ministry (I’ve always worked full time & a small business owner at the same time). I work in HR…so clearly I enjoy working with people!

Side note: if you’re a bride, prepare yourself when working with me. I love on you, I pray for you, I help you find ways to make your dollar stretch, and I loooooove to have fun!!!

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s connect!! My business is run from my home studio, but consultations take place over a cup of coffee, a good meal, glass of wine, over the phone, whatever & wherever.
