1 of my 1st recipes back in '22 floating around a few states till this day is my *CJC* my cucumber-jalapeño-cilantro margarita. If you do not have homemade mix please only use a natural one. The new Zing one is natural using real lime, key lime, & grapefruit. Always float your margs with a Grand Marnier topper (or cointreau), never mix a marg with triple sec, & if you only have gran gala as in this case, that will work just fine too. Be sure to shake tf outta that tin until your hands sting from the freeze because the ice impact is what extracts all the juices from the fresh cut ingredients especially the cucumber.
We won't discuss the tequila everyone knows I'm as passionate as a bourbon snob about it. I had an epsolon offer & I haven't tried Epsolon's new Cristalino yet, but my guy won't have it in until next week. Obviously shaking this with Julio Blanco is a perfect go to, but I had a coupon so the reposado would give it more depth given the brand. Yes, Cristalino is my favorite by far over Blanco, reposado, or añejo I don't care the brand you can't beat that extra filter. Enjoy 🍸
