Two new hummingbirds available, these are larger than the previous ones I’ve made. The blue, gray and green hummer is modeled after a real hummer that lives in tropical rainforest. Both versions are 7” wing to tail, and 5.5” wide

This little Luna went to the fair! I entered this Luna Moth panel into the Big Fresno Fair this year.

It’s so hard to wait to see it hanging in place after the fair starts on October 7th. Let me know if you see it while on display in the Fine Arts Building.

Fly like Tree Swallow! According to Birds & Blooms “With almost iridescent teal upper parts, and white below, they cut a striking figure as they swoop and dive through the skies for their preferred meal: bugs”
A little repetitious on the pics but I had to show all the nuances of these teal-blue shades and soft white of the belly.

Two stained glass Luna Moths I made as a custom commission. They recently went off to their new homes, one residing appropriately, in a greenhouse. I used glass from Bullseye Glass Co. Youghiogheny Opalescent Glass and The Paul Wissmach Glass Co. to get the mix of just-right greens 🌿🍏🍐🥒🫛

ps: I’ve got enough glass to make several more in a larger size 😅

How can you not smile at yourself when looking at this big ol’ orange 🍊 mod-flower mirror? It looks a little different depending upon the direction of the light.

Pattern is by with a size edit for the larger mirrored center

I chose the particular glass types so that it would shine bright with or without light through it, so it will be pretty wherever it goes!

Update: SOLD!

Moody Moth propagator is done! Ready for its new home (reluctantly) If sold locally, I’ll include the prayer plant cutting.

Detail: look at them roots! Pattern by Neile Cooper

Process: after cutting, then grinding. The glass has rough, sharp edges after cutting/breaking. Next step, copper foil applied to get ready for soldering the piece together
