On The Bit Events, LLC is a full service Equine Events Management company created by Liz Oertel Johnson in 2013. Liz has over a decade of experience as secretary, manager and organizer of dressage, horse trials, jumper shows, symposiums and clinics. OTBE is also offering additional services such as business branding, sales marketing, social media marketing and entry management. We have a fantastic network of high quality professionals, whose work has been vetted and tested, which we work with for additional support and services.
OTBE will create tailored packages to help suit each individual client’s needs as a pre-event consultant. We will assist existing show management teams in staffing and solving any issues that may arise, such as finding vendors, advertising and solving all staffing needs from recognized officials to pre-trained scoring teams. Liz has experience planning clinics, open-houses, hunter-paces, tradeshow campaigns, weddings and other events.
Liz believes in high quality customer service for both clients and competitors. She created On The Bit Events, LLC to be able to meld her passion for horse shows, event planning and her overall love for horses.
Presenting a high quality event, regardless of whether it is a schooling show, clinic, open-house or a USEF sanctioned competition, is the mission of On The Bit Events. Liz draws from 14+ years of experience in the industry and bring that, along with her knowledge and expertise as a rider to each project.
