New pack walk schedule coming soon! I delayed posting the schedule due to the inconvenience of the weather we just had! So we will be back on a regular schedule here shortly!

This is my first walk officially taking over from Gabriella, and I’m so excited to carry this group forward. I’m really looking forward to building on what she created and continuing to grow this strong, supportive community of women and their dogs.

As Ladies & Leashes steps into a new season, I’m so excited to continue growing this space with intention and heart.

These walks are about spending time with our dogs, getting outside for movement and fresh air, and being surrounded by like-minded women who truly get it.

Calm structure, supportive energy, and golden hour walks together.

Hello Ladies & Leashes! 🐾

My name is Kenzie, and I’m excited to be taking over Ladies and Leashes of Fredericksburg as Gabriella moves on to her new adventure! A huge thank you to Gabriella for all her dedication she’s built an amazing community for us to continue growing.

A little about me: I’m Kenzie, and I love going out on pack walks with my golden retriever, Forest and my puppy Groot! I’m passionate about dogs of all kinds and enjoy meeting other dog-loving ladies. I also run Peachy Hollow K9, where I focus on training service dogs and helping people build strong, happy relationships with their pups. I’m so happy to be taking over Ladies and Leashes of Fredericksburg and continuing to make this community a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable place for you and your dogs!

What’s next:
• I’m planning our first group walk schedule and would love your trail suggestions in and around Fredericksburg. Got a favorite dog-friendly route? Drop it in the comments!
• I’m also curious if anyone would be interested in monthly group training sessions covering obedience, tricks, or fun enrichment activities for our pups.

🌭🐾 We**ie Wednesday Walk is happening! 🐾🌭

Join Ladies and Leashes on Wednesday, February 18th for a fun group walk and brewery hang at The Barking Barley!

Our walk will take place at the Rappahannock River Heritage Trail at 5pm and we will meet at our regular spot in the parking lot next to the Fredericksburg Dog Park.

Dogs entering the off-leash park must be pre-registered, and we’ll be submitting our group list ahead of time so please make sure to RSVP by February 16th if you plan to attend!

Happy snow day! ⛄️ I hope everyone is staying warm, cozy, and enjoying the snowy views today. If you’re heading out with your pups, please be sure to bundle up, watch for icy spots, and take extra precaution because it’s chilly out there!

❄️ Walk Update:
Due to the snow and icy conditions, our walk scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, will be canceled for everyone’s safety. It will be rescheduled for a later day this week and I will share details soon!

I hope you all had an amazing holiday season and are feeling refreshed and ready to start walking again!

If your New Year’s goals include meeting new people, spending more intentional time with your dog, or getting some fresh air and exercise, we would love to have you join one of our weekly walks!

I can’t wait for more walks together in the new year! May your pups stay spoiled and your hearts stay full this holiday season. So grateful for each and every one of you!

🌟 Ladies & Leashes Holiday Event Announcement! 🎄🐾

I’m excited to announce our Christmas Event at GardenFest for Fidos at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond!

Join us on Monday, December 8th at 7:00pm for a magical evening walk through the garden’s holiday light displays, surrounded by friends, festive cheer, and of course—our pups!

Please note:
🌟 Tickets are required to attend this event.
I will include the ticket link (🔗 lewisginter.org) so everyone can purchase their own entry in advance.

To celebrate the season together, we will also be hosting a fun and lighthearted White Elephant gift exchange during the event!

Gift Guidelines:
• Please bring ONE wrapped gift
• Suggested value: $10–$20
• Funny, cozy, useful, or dog-themed gifts encouraged!
Everyone will go home with something unexpected and festive!

With the holiday season getting busy, this will be our final scheduled meet-up of the year so let’s make it a memorable one!
