Help us welcome Kayla Taylor () from Spring Branch, Texas! 💛

Kayla teaches Principles of Agriculture, Livestock, and Floral Design at Blanco ISD, where she loves helping students create, learn, and discover new possibilities through floral design.

One of our favorite things about Kayla’s story is that she only took Floral Design in high school, and now here she is years later teaching it herself. Proof that sometimes the things we’re learning alongside our students become the very things we’re meant to lead.

She’s joining Cultivated Blooms excited to learn, recharge, and step away for a couple of days to soak in creativity and connection with fellow floral educators.

Kayla, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Shelbi Morgan (.its.smorg) from Comanche, Oklahoma! 💛

Shelbi is an ag educator teaching everything from middle school ag to Ag Business, Animal Science, Ag Communications, and more, all while helping run a student print shop and building opportunities for her students to grow.

What we love most is that she’s coming to Cultivated Blooms with a dream. Shelbi wants to continue building her floral knowledge so she can eventually bring a full floral design course to her own students, and that kind of educator vision is exactly what this retreat is all about.

She’s excited to learn more about floral design, collaborate with fellow teachers, and gather the confidence and inspiration to build something beautiful back home.

Shelbi, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Megan Brundrett () from Arlington, Texas! 💛

Megan is one of those educators who makes you immediately say… wow. She serves approximately 200 students each year through Arlington ISD’s floral program, helping students gain real-world experience through custom floral work, community partnerships, and creative design opportunities.

This year alone, her students completed over 1,000 floral designs through 116 custom orders. Oh, and casually… Megan also earned her CFD, TMF, and AIFD certifications all in the same school year. Absolute powerhouse energy. 🙌🌸

This marks Megan’s third year returning to Cultivated Blooms, where she loves reconnecting with floral besties, collaborating creatively, and continuing to grow in the floral world.

Megan, we are so excited to have you bloom with us again! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Sara Burke from Katy, Texas! 💛

Sara teaches floral design at James E. Taylor High School in Katy ISD, where she’s spent over a decade helping students discover the art and creativity behind floral design.

Even though her campus currently only offers Intro Floral Design, Sara has found creative ways to create meaningful floral opportunities for students through after-school projects, school events, and community work. Her dedication to advocating for more opportunities for her students says so much about the kind of educator she is.

She’s joining Cultivated Blooms excited to create without budget constraints for a little while, have fun with flowers, and gather inspiration she can bring back to continue growing her program.

Sara, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Ashley Bishop ( and ) from La Grange, Texas! 💛

Ashley teaches Floral Design and the entire Plant Science pathway at La Grange ISD, where she encourages students to think creatively, push boundaries, and express themselves through floral design.

Her program, Lulu's Blooms, is known for creating opportunities that allow students to develop their own artistic style and confidence. Ashley says they "design unapologetically," and honestly, we love that.

This will be Ashley's fourth Cultivated Blooms Retreat, and she shared that she takes something new home every single year. She is looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and spending time creating alongside fellow floral educators.

With her love for creativity and bold design, we know she'll fit right in with this year's Festival in Bloom styled shoot team.

Ashley, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Leana Gore () from Teague, Texas! 💛

Leana wears a lot of hats in ag education, teaching Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, Principles of Agriculture, and middle school ag courses, all while helping lead a program full of unique traditions and creativity.

From a Flower of the Month Club to an annual fishing tournament and varmint hunt, her program sounds like the kind of place students remember forever. She’s passionate about helping students push their creative limits and discover what they’re capable of through floral design.

Leana is coming to Cultivated Blooms ready to recharge, be inspired, and walk away with fresh techniques and new opportunities to pour back into her students.

Leana, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Rachel Robinson from Jacksonville, Texas! 💛

Rachel teaches Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, Practicum Floral Design, and Horticulture at Jacksonville ISD and has spent nearly 20 years helping students grow through agricultural education.

One of the things we love most is Rachel's passion for giving students real-world floral experiences. This year she introduced styled shoots into her program, and her students absolutely loved it. She also had the opportunity to design the flowers for her niece's wedding, proving once again that floral design creates some truly meaningful moments.

Rachel attended Cultivated Blooms last year and shared that it was one of the best workshops she has attended in her teaching career. Hearing stories like that is exactly why this retreat exists.

She's returning this year excited to create, learn, and connect with floral educators from across the country, and we couldn't be happier to welcome her back.

Rachel, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Sydney Otwell () from Mineral Wells, Texas! 💛

Sydney teaches Floral Design at Mineral Wells High School, where she’s helping grow a fresh and exciting program through The Flower Well.

As a newer floral educator, Sydney already has such a clear passion for designing, creating unique arrangements, and finding new ways to inspire students through flowers. Building a new program takes heart, vision, and a little grit, and we love that she’s diving in wholeheartedly.

Sydney is joining Cultivated Blooms to learn new techniques, gather inspiration, and bring fresh ideas back to her students.

Sydney, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! 🌸✨

Help us welcome Ashley Marshall () from Anahuac, Texas! 💛

Ashley teaches Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Plant & Soil Science at Anahuac High School, where she helps students discover creativity, confidence, and a love for the floral industry.

Ashley is joining us this year excited to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and learn fresh floral techniques she can take back to her students. She'll also be part of our Festival in Bloom styled shoot team, and we know her creative spirit is going to be right at home there.

When asked her favorite flower, Ashley couldn't pick just one. Peonies and ranunculus both made the list, which honestly feels very on brand for a floral teacher. 🌸

Ashley, we are so excited to have you bloom with us! ✨

🌸💛 THE WOMEN BEHIND THE BLOOMS 💛🌸

If you've ever attended Cultivated Blooms, you know that what happens here is about so much more than flowers.

It's about community.
It's about creativity.
It's about educators pouring back into one another.

While my name may be attached to the retreat, the truth is that Cultivated Blooms would not be possible without the incredible women standing beside me.

A huge thank you to:

🌸 Baylee Adams
🌸 Ashley Bishop
🌸 Megan Burdett
🌸 Jessica Goodwin
🌸 Ashlyn Pigg Childress

These women have volunteered their time, talents, creativity, encouragement, ideas, and countless hours behind the scenes to help make this retreat a reality.

They've helped brainstorm concepts, lead styled shoots, solve problems, encourage attendees, answer questions, and bring the vision of Cultivated Blooms to life in ways I never could alone.

One of the most beautiful things about this retreat is that it has never been about one person. It has always been about floral educators coming together to support one another and create something bigger than themselves.

Ladies, thank you for believing in this mission.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for helping create a space where teachers can learn, create, rest, and remember why they fell in love with this profession.

I am beyond grateful to have each of you on this journey.

Help me show these amazing women some love in the comments! 💛🌸
