You’re going to forget your wedding day.

We asked Kelsey a question we’d been wanting to ask since we first heard her story:

“If you could sit beside the Kelsey lying on Ridge Road that day for 30 seconds, what would you tell her?”

Her answer wasn’t about changing what happened. It was about knowing what she knows now.

That things were going to work out. That what seemed unimaginable in those first moments wouldn’t always feel that way. And that her daughter would grow up knowing their life together as normal, and she would be okay with that.

More than four years later, this is what Kelsey would tell herself. ❤️

Kelsey and Cameron currently have two vans in need of repairs, and this is the story of the first one.

For their family, having reliable transportation is about so much more than getting from one place to another. It means independence, getting to appointments, taking care of everyday responsibilities, and being able to keep moving forward.

Three years ago, we had the opportunity to meet Kelsey and Cameron and help tell their story after a devastating accident changed their lives forever.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of following their journey and capturing some incredible moments along the way.

Tomorrow, we’ll be picking the cameras back up to film an update and continue telling their story. A lot has happened since we first sat down with them, and there’s still so much more to share. ❤️

Jessa, Travis & Logann 🤍

There’s something hard to beat about a family session in the mountains, especially with views like Waterrock K**b. We spent the evening capturing Jessa, Travis, and their daughter Logann simply enjoying time together, with plenty of laughs, sweet moments, and those little interactions that make family photos mean so much more as the years go by.

We loved getting to document this season of life for their family against one of our favorite Western North Carolina backdrops. These are the kinds of memories we hope they’ll look back on for years to come. 📸⛰️
