But it doesn't have to be.

It just requires some creativity and personalization.

Start with what you know about them.
If you were describing this person to a stranger, what would you say about how they operate in the world, what they love to do, who they spend their time with, or what hobbies they enjoy?

Then consider how you can pull those elements into an experience they wouldn't be able to create for themselves.

I've come a long way since my early years of creating celebrations for friends, family, and co-workers. But what has stayed the same is my belief that the people we love deserve to know how much they mean to us.
For me, that has often come in the form of surprises that show they are seen and celebrated.

Monica and Nate have traveled across the world together, grabbing takeaway coffee or enjoying slow afternoons on a café terrace before they head off to the next adventure. So as they get ready to welcome their first baby, we brought Café Bébé to them. This was a morning built around friendship and family, for a couple I've been lucky to call my friends for more than a decade. Grateful for the Chattanooga crew who co-hosted alongside me to help bring it to life.
