Parents sending me photos of their kiddos with my florals gives my heart such a boost. Know that I so appreciate being a part of special moments. My favorite place is here boosting you up quietly from the background, just like flowers do.

I’m just a girl, asking you to buy some flowers. The bouquets are bloom-heavy and lush, because we are approaching the last hurrah of the season, so why not go all in?
(I know you have been asking about dried flower pumpkins. I will start working on those soon!)

Picked a wagon load for you during the break between rain. Flowers bring the sunshine, which is a bit sparse lately, so I have the flowershed stocked for you!

Flowers are medicine. The antidote to a gloomy day or that brush of melancholy you can’t shake. They calm the soul and remind us to have hope. I have spent the year working for this moment, to be overflowing with blooms. This is the crescendo, loves. Don’t miss it.
Flowershed stocked through the weekend, or order something up to be waiting just for you.

I love building unexpected fall color palettes. When you pay attention to the mother nature surrounding you, you see that it’s more than just the pumpkin spice and reds that the commercial world packages up for you come fall. The things that make our woods and dunes in Michigan so beautiful are the purple asters, antiqued hydrangeas, deep blue viburnum and elderberry and pokeberry fruits mixed in with lime green and gold and copper foliage.

When you celebrate here along the northern lakeshore, whether it’s the quiet joy of gathering at the dinner table with family or a gala event, might I suggest not randomly picking colors, but instead drawing deeply from the colors of the place and time that you choose to celebrate in?

I live and breathe those things—how the season moves in patterns throughout the year. When you come to me to celebrate life, I translate this beautiful place into each arrangement. The joy and “rightness” of that is why I work so hard to grow every stem myself.
