Still digging through the archives. So this was originally sent to me as a cupcake cake design. The ears were a little difficult to squeeze on the cake, but we made it. Every cake has its challenges, and that was the challenge for this one, because that absolutely flawless piping on the side was effortless! I'm still admiring those perfect drop lines and ruffles, and seemingly perfect borders. The colors just pop! Please ask your children to give me a grade on this.😂

I would go on about how seriously behind I am with my posts, but in perspective, this is from January, and that's just my life right now.
This cake was a big one, a 90th birthday, and one of my favorite creations. While it was very minimalistic, the handpainted details packed a serious punch. We we're going for a vintage look, and added this adorable black-capped chickadee drawing since the birthday boy loves birds. Thank you Kristi for the party photos and allowing me to share this special occasion!

Back to some old posts! I will try to catch up one day. This girl has been crazy busy with so many things. Social media just doesn't make it onto my priority list most days. I had a couple days this weekend that were 20-21 hour days. It's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes when you work two jobs, but we do what we have to do!
This one was for a little boy with a very special request. His mama generated the image and sent it to me. This is how it turned out!
