Last weekend I attended the festival and picked blackberries. They were easy to pick and absolutely delicious. The blackberry jam was also great. And the blackberry cobbler with ice cream was award winning. The festival was a wonderful event with so much to do! Especially for kids: games, petting zoo, pony rides. There was a huge tent, live music, a few interesting booths, and lots and lots of staff and volunteers to help people and make them feel welcome. And the barn is a gorgeous event venue! So glad to have this wonderful farm in our area!

Donāt forget to cut your own sunflower when you are here! This week u-pick hours will be Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3 PM. We will be closed on Saturday. On Sunday join us for yoga led by @komposeyoga from 5:30p until 6:30p. We will do an evening u-pick from 6:45p until dark. We currently have our cooler stocked with pre-picked blackberries if you would like to stop by and just pick some up instead of pick your own!

Due to the Blackberry Festival on Saturday, July 24, we will not have REGULAR U-PICK hours until July 28. We will post regular u-pick hours early next week. IF YOU HAVE TICKETS TO THE FESTIVAL, you may pick blackberries anytime during your ticketed time slot. We will have picking all day long (or until we run out!). Please come ready to pick on Saturday! We will also have ready-pick berries for those who donāt want to pick their own!

This is the first adventure my new found sister and I had. What a good time! Weather was great. Farm is beautiful!

Is it organic?
We had an inKredible day at the Inaugural Blackberry Festival in Fortville last weekend! The weather was perfect (for an Indiana July day āļø). We got to hang out with some familiar faces and met so many new friends! We loved sharing our story with so many and are beyond grateful to Greg & Jennifer for having us out on this very special day! We had so much fun playing yard games, listening to the wonderful local musicians, enjoying great local food, wine and sours! Chatting with some of our favorite local vendors, petting this cat, watching the cutest little pig trot about and really just seeing so many friends (there are no strangers)! Highlight of the event for us though was witnessing their daughter get on stage, completely unplanned, to play a few songs. She was amazing! Then she ends it with one of her very own, an original that brought her little sister on the stage to assist with holding her big sisās notebook while she blessed all of us at the festival with so much soul! It gave us goosebumps. Chatting with her dad at the end of the festival and about Kammy's Ride, he shared a little emotion with us on how precious it was in that moment to see both his girls up there and how it just melted him.. āthis is why I bought a farm..ā š so much love.
