Writing your vows but don’t know where to start? Keep it simple, personal, and real. Here’s how:

✨ 1. Start with Why
✔️ Why do you love them? What makes them “your person”?

✨ 2. Make It Personal
✔️ Share a sweet, funny, or meaningful moment that sums up your relationship.

✨ 3. Keep It Real
✔️ You don’t have to be a poet. Just speak from the heart.

✨ 4. Add a Promise
✔️ “I promise to always save you the last bite.”
✔️ “I promise to love you even when you leave dishes in the sink.”
✔️ “I promise to stand by you, no matter what.”

✨ 5. Short & Sweet Wins

💍 How to Get Married in Texas: The Simple Guide

Getting married in Texas? Here’s everything you need to know—without the legal jargon.

✨ Step 1: Get Your Marriage License
✔️ Both of you need to go in person to a Texas county clerk’s office.
✔️ Bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
✔️ Pay the license fee ($60–$85, depending on the county).
✔️ No blood test required (because, yeah, that used to be a thing).

✨ Step 2: Wait 72 Hours
⏳ Texas has a 3-day waiting period before you can officially tie the knot—unless you qualify for a waiver (military, court order, etc.).

✨ Step 3: Find an Officiant (Hey, That’s Me!)
✔️ Your ceremony can be religious or non-religious—totally up to you.
✔️ You need an ordained minister, judge, or other authorized officiant to make it official.

✨ Step 4: Say “I Do”
💒 Your ceremony must happen within 90 days of getting your license.
💍 Fun fact: Texas does NOT require witnesses! So if you want something small and private, go for it.

✨ Step 5: Make It Official
✔️ Your officiant (me!) will sign the license after the ceremony.
✔️ You must return it to the county clerk’s office within 30 days to be legally recorded.

And just like that—you’re officially married! 🎉
