We are 3 to 5 months out, and that employee appreciation event that has been sitting in the back of your mind? It is time. We both know it is time.

Most people experience a conference. We experience the thousands of decisions behind it.
If you're the one responsible for planning it, you know exactly what we mean.

You are managing general sessions, breakout sessions, exhibit halls, sponsor activations, and attendee flow across multiple days. You are feeding people breakfast, lunch, receptions, and sometimes off-site evening events while making sure the A/V, production, and schedule hold up from the opening session to the closing remarks.

If attendees are traveling in, someone is coordinating hotel blocks, rooming lists, ground transportation, and all of the logistics that happen behind the scenes.

Every one of those moving pieces has a deadline, a budget, a vendor, and a decision behind it.

We are deep in fall and winter event planning right now, and that's exactly why we're talking about this.

The earlier you start, the more you get. Better venue options, better vendor availability, and enough time to build something that actually works toward a goal instead of just filling a date on the calendar.

SIX Best of Fort Worth wins since 2020, and when we pause to let it sink in... this one still hits just the same. We feel so many things. Grateful. Proud. Exhausted. A little emotional, honestly.

This honor does not belong to us alone! It belongs to every client and organization who handed us their vision and trusted us to bring it to life. Every vendor who showed up ready to roll. Every team member who handled the chaos like a pro. Every Moxxie team member's family, friends, and event pets that carried us through.

Because let's be honest: rain-flooded parking lot tent strikes, back-to-back SAME-DAY 1,000+ guest events, a broken A/C unit 30 minutes before doors, overnight load-ins... we've been put through the wringer. And every single time, our team, our partners, and our village have shown up right alongside us to get the job done.

We love the spreadsheets, the details, the timelines. We love the creative brainstorming sessions where a theme starts to click. We love the moment the space comes together and a client looks around and just smiles. We love all of it.

It was a genuine pleasure to partner with Leadership Fort Worth on their annual LeadershipOUTLOOK 2026 breakfast at Simmons Bank Pavilion at Dickies Arena. Our role was day-of onsite ex*****on: layout, registration, running the program from the booth, and load-out. But we'd be lying if we said we weren't also just soaking it all in. The conversation in that room was the kind you don't walk away from without learning something about the city you call home.

Leadership Fort Worth has been doing this work since 1972, reaching everyone from 8th graders to C-suite executives and elected officials. Fort Worth is our city. We operate here, we invest here, and organizations like this are a big part of why this community keeps moving forward.

This year's panel brought together 4 Fort Worth mayors: Mayor Mattie Parker , Betsy Price , Mike Moncrief, and Kenneth Barr, moderated by Dr. Jennifer Cowley, the first female president of The University of Texas at Arlington. Grateful for days like this one!

This spring event season included snow delays, flooded tents, longhorns, scavenger hunts for wheelchairs, zoo traffic and at least one balloon chase through a parking lot. In other words, a pretty typical few months around here.

The Moxxie Team only made it through all of it because of our incredible clients, partners, and top tier vendors who rolled with every pivot right alongside us.

PS: FUN FACT - Do you know how we got our name, Moxxie Concepts??

"Moxie" means energy, pep, force of character, determination, courage and know-how. We added the extra "x" in Moxxie because we are the eXperience eXperts 😉. And we went with Concepts because an event truly starts at the very first idea, not just what you see on the final day-of!
